Moses Sawney

Mr. Sawney has over 30 years of experience in providing and implementing strategic, tactical and analytical advice on financial and strategic matters to a variety of clients and law firms.  Mr. Sawney began his career with NCNB (currently Bank of America) in 1987. During his career at Bank of America, he was a Vice President in the Corporate Finance unit in Washington DC and New York, managing relationships with non-investment grade middle market and large corporate clients. Clients included Perdue Farms, Crown Petroleum, Comsat, USF&G, The Washington Post and The Denver Nuggets.
 

Later at Banc of America Securities, Mr. Sawney founded and was Director of an investment banking unit focusing primarily on acquisition transactions development to increase financing, advisory and equity co-investment with its clients. Mr. Sawney joined Amistad Holding in 1988 as partner, responsible for building the firm’s business and organization, structuring and monitoring the firm’s equity investments as well as guiding investment strategy.

For the past 20 years, Mr. Sawney has provided forensic economic and financial consulting to insurance companies, businesses and state, local and federal governments relating to litigation support. Moses has also done extensive pro bono work for the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund, providing economic analysis and expert testimony.

Moses holds a B.A and Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Tampa.  Mr. Sawney is an active member of National Association of Forensic Economic (NAFE) and has presented academic papers at conferences.  Mr. Sawney has published in Journal of Applied Business and Economic (June 2017).
